I'm confident that Peter Obi will be president, the hope is still alive- Barrister Julius Abure

According to Independent Nigeria, Barrister Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party, has expressed confidence in the presidential aspirations of Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State. Speaking to United States Labour Party supporters, Abure encouraged them to remain optimistic about Obi’s chances and assured them that the Labour Party believes Obi holds solutions to the challenges facing Nigeria.

Abure stated that the Labour Party firmly holds the view that Peter Obi’s candidacy offers the solutions required to address the nation’s issues. He noted that the political dynamics in Nigeria have changed since Obi’s participation in the 2023 general election, and he urged supporters not to be disheartened by the current situation.

According to Barrister Julius Abure, the Labour Party and its members are determined to continue supporting Peter Obi’s presidential ambitions, as they believe he has the ability to bring positive changes to Nigeria. He expressed confidence that despite the challenges, the hope of Peter Obi becoming President remains alive, and he encouraged supporters to remain steadfast in their belief.

In his words; ”Without sounding immodest, since they took over, things are now worse. The only party and the only candidate that has solutions to the challenges of the country is the Labour Party and Peter Obi. And so we still believe that things will change in Nigeria. I want to say that we should not lose hope, we should not be discouraged. The hope is still alive and I am confident that Peter Obi will be President.”
