A former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke has expressed optimism that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will run a very decent government. Speaking in an interview on Untold stories with Adesuwa, Adoke said a lot of Nigerians sees Tinubu as a very competent person and assumed that he ran a successful administration in Lagos.

He said, “you know the good thing about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I am a PDP stock, I hold a PDP card, the good thing is that Nigerian sees him as someone who is very competent. He is assumed to have ran an administration in Lagos and it is assumed to be largely successful. And so I think he is going to run a very decent government. I will be surprised if anything to the contrary happens. I think he has the courage, I think he has the intellect and I will pray to God that may God give him the health, the strength, and the ability to navigate this country.”
