President Ali Bongo Breaks Silence After he was Placed Under House Arrest by Military Officers.
Democratically elected president of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba has finally spoken about his detention at his house by the military junta in Gabon, following the ongoing military coup in the African country.
Recall that the Gabonese military department had few hours ago, announced that they have overthrown the government and also placed Gabon President, Ali Bongo Ondimba under house arrest.
According to the officers, they have scrapped the election results that handed power to President Ali Bongo Ondimba to govern for another tenure and they have arrested his son for treason.
And so in what seems to be a recent development, Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu took to his official Instagram page to upload a video showing the moment President Ali Bongo Ondimba broke silence with regards to such house arrest.
In such video, the Gabon President urged his friends all over the world to make noise because his people have arrested him and kept his wife and son in another location.
President Ali Bongo Ondimba further revealed that he is currently at his residence and he does not know what is happening in the country right now.
