The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has emphasized that his focus is on upholding legality rather than engaging in political squabbles. He stated in a video (28:43) that if it’s discovered that the PDP building in Abuja lacks a Certificate of Occupancy, the ministry will carry out its duties diligently and appropriately.

Wike mentioned, “I’ve moved beyond petty conflicts. Have you ever seen me show fear towards anyone? If I have an issue with someone, I’m upfront about it. If we’re investigating properties lacking proper Certificates of Occupancy, including the PDP building, we will follow proper procedures. Can you even name one person who is my enemy? I value truth over propaganda and don’t associate with those who distort facts.”

In my opinion, I believe Nyesom Wike should try and reduce the way he probably wants to be harsh on the people of FCT because he might need the favor of this people, but nevertheless, he should do the right thing.
