Uzodimma, Ganduje, Okorocha meet Tinubu in Aso Villa

According to the Vanguard, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State and former governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha put their political differences aside as they came together for a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.

Despite their recent animosity, the two politicians arrived at the State House alongside the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, at around 6:07 p.m.

However, it was a brief encounter, as the trio emerged from the meeting just minutes later, accompanied by the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Reliable sources revealed that President Tinubu had already left the office before their arrival.

The group then proceeded to Vice President Kashim Shettima’s office. There are speculations that Alhaji Ganduje may bring Okorocha, Uzodimma, and Governor Sanwo-Olu to the President’s residence.

The purpose of the meeting remains undisclosed, but it is believed to address the ongoing feud between Uzodimma and Okorocha, who served as the Governor of Imo State from 2011 to 2019.

It is worth noting that Okorocha and some of his political associates were recently implicated by the Imo State Government’s Committee on the Recovery of Public Property.
