According to Daily Post, the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, had revealed his plans for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the 2023 presidential election, following their victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
Recall that the PEPT had on Wednesday declared Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the rightful winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the PEPT judgement, the vice president mocked the PDP presidential candidate saying they would not retire him to Dubai or Morocco but a place where he would be rearing animals.
He, however, acknowledge the former Vice-president as an elder statesman whom he greatly respect because of his experience.
Stating that politics is a game of the smart, the former Borno State governor apologised to those he offended during and after the campaign.
He said, “We are not going to retire him to Dubai or Morocco, I will retire him to Fombina, I will buy him goats, broilers and layers so that he can spend his days rearing goats and broilers, but on a joking side.
