'I Was Afraid Prior To The Election Until When The PDP Breached Their Constitution' -Osita Okechukwu

A Founding Member of the ruling party, Osita Okechukwu has alleged that his fears of APC losing the 2023 election were gone when PDP breached their zoning arrangement and picked Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to contest in the 2023 election. He stated that the PDP paid the consequences of breaching its own constitution of zoning arrangement that could have effected a Southerner picking the party ticket.

In an interview with Arise TV news, He said, ”I was afraid prior to the election until when the PDP breached the constitution of their own party, they breached the zoning convention. I know that the storm will catch up on them. It happened to us in 2003, Buhari had extensive 1 12 million votes in the North but the Southerners and some Northerners did not vote for us. They said it’s not your turn and we lost. So if you are trying to breach the storm, there would be consequences, and one of those consequences is the incapacity of the PDP to rally around a cohesive plan.”
