Bola Tinubu Didn't Win Any Other State In The South East & South South Except Rivers State- Wike

The former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, said that during the recently concluded presidential election, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not win any other state in southeast and SouthSouth apart from Rivers State. Wike added that the people of Rivers State have no regrets about this outcome.

Wike further expressed his satisfaction with supporting and working for President Bola Tinubu during the election. He emphasized that he doesn’t owe anyone an apology for his efforts and support for the president.

In an interview with Channels Television, Wike stated, “I’m here to support the president, who has the confidence in me to help him deliver the renewed hope. I owe nobody any apologies at all. I was in PDP and I worked for Tinubu to be president. In the South East and South South, there is no one state the president (Tinubu) won except Rivers state. We don’t regret it.”

He went on to describe President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his “boss,” highlighting that he agreed to work for him because the president had faith in his ability to contribute to delivering a renewed sense of hope for the country.
