President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has maintained that he passed through whatever situations that Nigerians are currently passing through; after he revealed how he worked as a guard, and as a tutor in the past.
President Tinubu had said, “I have been a guard man; i have been a tutor.”

President Tinubu, who spoke at an event in India, said Nigeria has been poor in the areas of leadership and management. According to him, Nigeria has been blessed with several ethnic groups, and technocrats who are willing to ensure that the country thrives, but leadership and management have been the challenge. He maintained that it was the reason why he contested for the seat of the President during the February 25, 2023 Presidential election. He expressed determination to restore Nigeria’s lost glory by improving leadership and management.
President Tinubu had also, before he spoke about his plans for Nigeria, gloated over his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. He revealed that the excitement about his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal could not make him sleep. He said the thought that he might be sacked was the reason why the event did not start early.
