I Expect Supreme Court To Order A Redo Of The Election; We Are Saying Election Was Rigged – James Ezike

A lawyer, James C. Ezike, has insisted that the election that led to the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was rigged; after he said he would expect that the Supreme Court would order that the election should be re-conducted because the foundation was wrong in the first place.

James Ezike had said, “We are saying that the election was rigged. What i expect in this judgement of the Supreme Court that is coming, is to do what other countries like Kenya have done in their Supreme Court judgements: redo the election because the foundation is wrong.”

Ezike, who spoke during an interview on The Morning Show, an Arise Television programme, insisted that it was fraudulent for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to tell Nigerians that the results of the February 25, 2023 Presidential election would be transmitted electronically, only to decide on the day of the election that results would be collated manually. According to him, political parties must have hoped that the results would be transmitted electronically, hence, INEC was fraudulent to have gone contrary to its promise.

Ezike insisted that even though he was not a counsel to any of the parties, there is a need for the Supreme Court to order that the election should be conducted again.
