'I Am Very Happy With PEPT Judgment, It Was A Moment Of Joy For Me' -Wike Reacts To PEPT Judgement

The ruling by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal yesterday, affirming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 Presidential election, has been welcomed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Speaking in an interview in a video (28:40) on Channels Television today, Wike expressed joy and elation at the tribunal’s judgment. He congratulated President Tinubu and his running mate, Shettima, attributing the victory to the grace of God.

Wike commended the judiciary for their hard work in delivering the lengthy judgment, which took over 10 hours. He viewed their efforts as admirable and believed they arrived at the right decision.

The Minister expressed his pleasure with the tribunal’s ruling, which aligns with his own position, and sees it as a moment of celebration. He reiterated his congratulations to President Tinubu for having his electoral victory upheld despite the legal challenge from other parties.
