A Member of the All Progressive Congress, Kazeem Afegbua has alleged that Abdullahi Ganduje moved 14 Northern Governors to ensure that power rotate to the South in the 2023 election. He said in an interview with Arise Tv news that Ganduje as a loyal party man played a major role in the victory of President Bola Tinubu. According to him, Ganduje suits the position more than anyone because he’s someone who enjoys the President confidence.

He said, ”Ganduje for me is someone who’s so committed to the party and you can’t take that away from him. I remember in 2020 when he came to Edo for the governorship election, I remember the kind of commitment and involvement he put into the whole process. A lot of people can see to the fact that he’s very Pro-Tinubu as a person, he moved 14 of the Northern governors to say that power should rotate to the South. He’s someone who enjoys the confidence of the President and that kind of person is better suited than anybody who is outside the party structure.”
