Fuel Price Hike: We Must Thank Tinubu For His Courage To Take The Bull By The Horn – Gov. Oyebanji

Ekiti State governor, Biodun Oyebanji has called on Nigerians to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for having the courage to take tough decisions for the betterment of the country. The plea comes just as reactions have started trailing the recent increase in pump price from N500 per litre to 617 per litre.

According to Vanguard paper, Governor Oyebanji made the call to Nigerians, during discussions with journalists on Monday at the National Assembly in Abuja, where he called for support for President Tinubu’s administration.

Governor Oyebanji said Nigerians should appreciate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for being courageous enough to take tough decisions for the good of the country, urging them to support his government as nothing good comes easy.

According to the Ekiti State Governor, Nigerians would reap the benefits of their patience soon.

He said, “Nigerians should be patient with President Bola Tinubu, you cannot eat an omelets without breaking an egg, there is no microwave solution to our problem, you must confront these challenges headon.

You (Nigerians) must thank the president for having the courage for taking the bull by the horn. If we are going to get out of this wood we must take very hard decisions. I just plead with Nigerians to be patient, very soon they will know that the President meant well.”
