Even If APC Gives The Abia Governorship Ticket To Ikechi Emenike 20 Times, He'll Not Win—Hon Okoro

During an interview with AIT , Hon. Chijioke Okoro, a former Abidjan governorship aspirant under the Action Alliance, stated that even if the APC gives their gubernatorial ticket to Ikechi Emenike twenty times, he’ll not win. He stated that Emenike is not popular in the state and does not have the capacity to win the election. 

He revealed that when he wanted to seek out the ticket at the party and found out that the ticket had been given to someone else, he left the party to AA. He further disclosed that he would have been unbeatable if he had clinched the APC ticket.

According to him, “When I waited for the APC ticket to be given to me, I found out that they were about to give it to a hard-to-crack nut. That’s hard to sell a candidate who is not popular in the state, and there’s nothing we can do about it. They have made up their mind to give it to that particular candidate. There were no primaries in Abia State. They just wanted to give it to that man. What happened in Abia State under the APC was just abracadabra. They have decided to give it to that man, maybe with some people backing him without knowing that he’s not popular in that state. He’s not popular, he’s hard to sell, and you can’t sell him. He’s not a sellable candidate; give it to him twenty times; he will not win the election.”
