Nigeria’s top lawyer, Jibrin Samuel Okutepa, says people will keep suffering as long as the government uses their plight for political gain.
On Sunday, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria made the statement on his Verified Twitter handle, drawing a number of responses.
So many Nigerians, says Jibrin Samuel Okutepa, are hurting while others exploit their pain for political gain.
He warned that the Nigerian people would continue to suffer as long as their leaders continued to exploit their plight for political gain.
He claimed that those who are educated to tell it like it is always skirted the truth in favour of their own political parties.
He warned that the plight of the Nigerian people would not improve under the current administration “until we stop playing politics with their suffering.” Those with the skills to call a spade a spade have always used partisan politics to avoid being direct.
