NLC Kicks Against Wike's Demolition In Abuja

The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, has openly confronted the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, regarding the demolitions occurring in the capital city, Abuja. NLC President Comrade Joe Ajaero, during an interview, likened these demolitions, primarily impacting the less fortunate, to a form of tyranny reminiscent of Hitler’s actions.

According to VANGUARD NEWS, Comrade Ajaero said: “Shelter is among Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and you go and demolish it and ask them to go to hell and your so called master plan is in your pocket. Nobody knows where your master plan is. And you watch NLC draws battle line over Wike’s demolition planin Abuja them, some of them use their retirement benefits to start foundation (and you demolish it), that will not continue.”

Comrade Joe Ajaero expressed that Wike has conducted the demolitions in a manner that, according to the NLC president, has predominantly impacted the less privileged residents of Abuja.
