Check Out The First Three Clubs To Make More Than €50m Profit In 2023 Summer Transfer Window

Many clubs have g to make profits in the 2023 summer yv window. A look at movements of players shows that three football outfits have made gains of €50m so far. Let us take a look at them.

The first club to do is Chelsea FC of England. The Blues have spent €97m while they have made an income of €156.6m. This gives a balance of €59.6m as at June 2, 2023. The spendings are on Christopher Nkunku (€60m) from RB Leipzig and Nicolas g Jackson (€37) from Villarreal. At the same time, the London club generated funds from the sale of four players. The most expensive of them is Kai Havertz that moved to Arsenal for €70.

Wolverhampton Wanderers (another English Premier League club) are next on the list. The four-time FA Cup winners have made a profit of €52.7m so far in the current window. This is obtained by deducting their spendings of €11m from their income of €63.7m. The expensis is on Boubacar Traoré who moved in from Ligue 1 side, Metz. Meanwhile, two players, Rúben Neves and Conor Coady were sold at €55m and €8.7m respectively. 

Villarreal is the third place outfit in this category. The La Liga giants €2.5m and generated €53m. This gives a profit of €50.5m as at July 2, 2023. The income was obtained from the sale of Nicolas Jackson to Chelsea, Boulaye Dia to Salernitana and Manu Morlanes to RCD Mallorca. The buyers paid €37m, €12m and €4m respectively. The only club that is close to this trio is Sassuolo. This Italian Serie A side have a balance of €48.42m.
