Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Eric Oshiokhai Akhigbe, has responded to blog allegations that he was detained in the UK for alleged fraud.
Eric claimed the news was incorrect in a post on his Instagram page where he showed a screenshot of the blog’s article.
The self-described “drip influencer” specifically brought up the blog, accusing it of disparaging him and spreading false information about his claimed detention in the UK.
According to posts from numerous blogs, Eric was allegedly detained on Wednesday for defrauding individuals by promising them slots in the upcoming BBNaija reality TV show.
He claimed that if the relevant blog didn’t correct the misunderstanding they had caused in the public’s minds, his legal team would take legal action.
“My legal team and have been alerted on an article posted today on @pulsenigeria247 defaming my character and telling lies about my alleged arrest in the UK which are totally false. I was not arrested in the UK, they are all lies,” the reality TV star wrote.
The blog however, had removed the post claiming Eric had been arrested as of the time of this report.
