By G9ija

Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, has asked the state’s National Road Transport Union Workers to direct their resentments to the proper parties rather than resorting to breaking the law.

Rasheed Olawale, Adeleke’s chief press secretary, said this in a statement that he released in Osogbo.

Adeleke issued a warning against hostility amongst the state’s transport workers’ unions.

He gave security agencies orders to secure the protection of people and property in the protest-affected areas.

According to Biztellers.com.ng, leaders of the NURTW protested in some of the motorparks in Osogbo in an effort to take control of the parking lots. Some union members protested in Old Garage motorpark, Okefia, Olaiya and Aregbe motorparks.

According to reports, the union members are fighting for control of the motorparks.

According to reports, rival groups blocked roadways, making it difficult to get around, and alarmed people. Security personnel have also managed to stabilize the situation.

According to reports, Osogbo is presently peaceful as security personnel patrol major motorparks and troubled areas.
