Addressing Tinubu As My President Doesn't Make Me Enemy Of My Leader, Peter Obi – Godwin Ogah

A Labour Party member and lawmaker representing Isuikwuato-Umunneochi Federal Constituency in Abia State, Godwin Ogah has reacted after he encountered backlash for addressing Tinubu as his president and expressing his admiration for him after they had a meeting.

In an interview with TVC , Ogah maintained that what he said about Tinubu is the truth and he is not an enemy of his leader, Peter Obi, or the Labour Party for addressing Tinubu as his president and saying he is a sound man. He added that the interest of the country should come first.

According to Ogah “For me, I don’t think I suffered anything because what I said is the truth. Immediately after the election, let’s talk about governance. I am also in court, somebody took me to court but it doesn’t stop people from addressing me as Honourable. I am Honourable today until the court says otherwise, so for me to address Tinubu as ‘My President’ and say I am shocked that this man is sound, doesn’t make me an enemy of the Labour Party or enemy of my leader, Peter Obi”.
