How Can Tinubu Feel Our Pains When He Is A Multi-Billionaire And A Very Rich Man?–Chuks Akunna

Nigerian journalist and the executive director of the Authority paper, Chuks Akunna has questioned how President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can feel the pains of Nigerians, when he himself is a multi-billionaire and a very wealthy man. Chuks Akunna asked this question in response to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s statement, in which he empathized with Nigerians on the hardship caused by the removal fuel subsidy by saying ‘I fee your pain’.

Speaking on the AIT network, Chuks Akunna said: “You know I’ve heard President [Bola Ahmed] Tinubu say that he can feel our pain. How can he [Tinubu] feel our pains when he is a multi-billionaire and a very rich man? Like I say if you are not a woman, I’m a man, I don’t know how menstrual pain feels like, I’ve never menstruated in my life, I’m a man.

“So, if you are a billionaire, you don’t know what the man on the street the man who earns N20,000 or the man who is unemployed feels, you can never know. President Tinubu can never feel what the man on the street feels because for 20, 30 he has never been a poor man all his life. So coming to tell us that you share your pains, I feel your pains, I mean it’s not true, it can’t be true, it’s very misleading”.
