2023: Majority of voters Don't belong to any party, they vote along ethnic and religious lines-Momodu

Dele Momodu, former presidential aspirant and PDD chieftain, said that during the 2023 election, majority of voters don’t belong to any party and that most people vote along ethnic and religious lines.

Dele Momodu made the comment in an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Mic On podcast, when Seun Okinbaloye asked him to air his view on the take of some people that Peter Obi leaving PDP is the greatest undoing for Atiku Abubakar’ ambition.

Dele Momodu said that insinuation that the departure of Peter Obi from the PDP is the greatest undoing to Atiku’s ambition is not true.

In his word, at the university of Ife, he studied ‘logic’ so he has his sense of logic intact. Dele Momodu said if anybody could have lost the election, it is not Atiku. He said those people saying that are only looking at party and not looking at the fact that, the first condition of winning or failing is ethnicity, the second usually is religion, and the third which is very important is cash.

He said in that case, Peter Obi could have chip away from Asiwaju because Asiwaju suppose to win 2 region convincingly in the south. He said if Peter Obi takes southeast and south south, that leave Asiwaju in southwest and even that southwest, Peter Obi contested it with Asiwaju.
