If Judiciary Doesn't Handle The Petition Tribunal Well, People May Refuse To Vote Next Time -Yusuf

Alaba Yusuf, a former member of the now defunct Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council has come out to say that if the judiciary does not handle the election petition tribunal in a way that is satisfactory to the people, there could be huge voter apathy in the next election.

According to Alaba Yusuf who appeared in an interview on Channels television this morning…

“People went out to vote, they believed in the new digital technology, the IREV but at the last minute, they said it cannot work, that there was a glitch. And up till today, nobody have given any reason or told the country what went wrong. So if the judiciary does not handle this well, people may not go out to vote next time, there could be huge voter apathy.”

Mr. Alaba Yusuf also went ahead to speak on the current living conditions of Nigerians, saying that the people are unhappy and it’s difficult to govern unhappy people.

In his own words as seen in the interview…

“People are disillusioned, there’s no employment. Those that are employed, their take home cannot take them home. I remember when one Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha who created ministry of happiness. You cannot govern unhappy people.”
