The decision of the presidential election petition tribunal that sat in Abuja on Wednesday to strike out all the petitions brought by the opposition parties against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been generating mixed reactions

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian columnist with the Sun Newspaper, Onuoha Ukeh has stated in his article that FCT cannot have the same status with other states of the federation.
According to him, it is only one senator that represents FCT in the Senate.
Hear him “If FCT has equal status with other states of the federation, why is it, for example, that only one senator represents FCT at the Senate, when other states have three each? Besides, one finds it difficult to defend, if questioned by one’s child, the position that “and” means “part of.” This is not English language.” He stated on Sun Newspaper.
