"You Will Not Regret Your Confidence In This Administration" – President Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in a meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leaders from across Nigeria, reassured the citizens that they would not regret placing their confidence in his administration. He emphasized his commitment to creating a better Nigeria and addressing key issues such as security, healthcare, and industrialization.

He said in part: “We will continue to strive for a better Nigeria. You will not regret your confidence in this administration.”

During the meeting held at the State House, President Tinubu expressed his determination to retrieve Nigeria from the vested interests that have hindered its development. He assured the women leaders that his administration would prioritize important matters, including security, healthcare systems, and industrial growth.

President Tinubu highlighted that his government had already begun implementing policies and programs aimed at positively impacting the lives of Nigerians. One of these initiatives is the Students’ Loan Scheme, which will ensure stable academic calendars for students in tertiary institutions. Additionally, he mentioned the administration’s focus on security, acknowledging that women often bear the brunt of insecurity. He pledged to address this issue promptly.

The President also emphasized the revitalization of healthcare facilities and the pursuit of industrialization, noting the positive impact these endeavors would have on employment opportunities for the citizens’ children and relatives.

Expressing his gratitude for the support received during the campaigns and elections, President Tinubu commended the women leaders for their dedication and hard work, acknowledging the challenges they faced, such as fuel scarcity and currency fluctuations. He assured them that their efforts would be rewarded through improved conditions for their children and a brighter future.

As the newly appointed Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), President Tinubu acknowledged the additional responsibility this role brought and pledged to work even harder to achieve a better Nigeria.

Reiterating his administration’s open-door policy, President Tinubu stressed the importance of national unity. He encouraged the APC women leaders to embrace members from other parties who had recognized the positive trajectory of his administration and were willing to contribute to Nigeria’s progress.
