Nollywood actor cum chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), Kenneth Okonkwo, has slammed the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, for sleeping during a courtesy visit.
Tinubu, who was in Gombe to attend the wedding of Misbahu Inuwa Yahaya, son of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, decided to stop by for a brief homage and political meeting at the Emir’s Palace, accompanied by political bigwigs including Senate President, Ahmad Lawan…….Continue Reading
During the meeting, Tinubu was captured sleeping while Lawan was seen holding the microphone and addressing attendees at the emir’s palace.
The photos generated outrage online with many critics saying it is another evidence of Tinubu’s frail health condition and needs rest, instead of running for president.
A President Must Be Physically, Mentally Fit
Kenneth Okonkwo, during an interview on AIT, spoke on the readiness of the LP flagbearer, Peter Obi to tackle insecurity and stabilize the economy.
According to him, Obi is a security expert, who did so much in Anambra State and will replicate such in Nigeria if he emerges as the president.
He further took a swipe at the APC vice presidial candidate, Kashim Shettima, for suggesting that Tinubu cannot handle insecurity during a recent interview.
He said that the body of the former Governor of Lagos is yearning for rest, little wonder he slept off during a courtesy visit at the Emir’s palace.
Kenneth added that a president must be mentally and physically fit because a man who is not physically fit cannot handle the post.
