Colonel Abubakar Dangiwa Umar (retired), the former military governor of old Kaduna State, has conducted a critical analysis of former President Buhari’s eight-year administration, concluding that his efforts in counter-insurgency, anti-corruption, and economic recovery were misleading.

Furthermore, Umar shed light on the rampant corruption and embezzlement of public funds that occurred during Buhari’s administration, asserting that the economy deteriorated even further compared to his predecessor, former President Goodluck Jonathan, whom Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ousted from office through propaganda.
