You Can't See Any Igbo Man Tell You That He Doesn't Have Pity For How We're Treated In Nigeria–Ubah

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South, has expressed his belief that the people of the South East region in Nigeria are experiencing significant marginalization at the federal level.

In an interview with Channels TV, he conveyed the sentiment that the average Igbo individual feels a sense of discontent regarding the treatment of their region. In order to rectify this situation, he emphasized the importance of addressing the concerns raised by the people of the South East.

Senator Ubah highlighted the inequality and disparity faced by Igbo individuals within Nigeria. He observed that their ability to exercise influence and authority in the appropriate areas is hindered. Furthermore, he affirmed that no Igbo person would deny having sympathy for the perceived mistreatment experienced by their community within the country.

It is his belief that the resolution of these issues of marginalization is essential for fostering a stronger sense of belonging and unity within Nigeria. The current circumstances are adversely impacting both the South East region and its political structure.

”There is inequality in the way an Igbo man is being seen in Nigeria. The way we are not having our way where we are supposed to have our way. And no Igbo man will tell you that he doesn’t have sympathy with how we are treated in Nigeria. Until some of these issues about marginalization are being addressed, then we can have a better understanding that we belong to this country. It’s affecting us and it’s affecting our political structure.”

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represents Anambra South, has voiced the concerns of the South East people regarding their marginalization at the federal level. He pointed out the inequality faced by Igbo individuals and emphasized that their ability to exert influence is compromised.
