If Tinubu Will Islamize Nigeria, He Would Have Long Ago Islamzied His Wife- Charles Ighele

A former Chairman of the Financial Accountability Commission of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Charles Ighele said that If Tinubu had the intention to Islamize Nigeria, he would have already done so with his wife.

He also lament that The Church is not against President Bola Tinubu, adding that what the Church was completely against was the Muslim-Muslim ticket. And the Church will forever be against the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

The former Chairman to PFN made this statement while responding to a question asked by Vanguard paper, which is “There have been claims made in several quarters that the Muslim-Muslim ticket could be a prelude to an agenda to Islamize Nigeria. What do you think?

In his own words, Charles Ighele said “Saying Tinubu will Islamize Nigeria is a wicked insinuation, especially considering that his wife is a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Furthermore, the fact that he allowed two church-going governors to govern Lagos after his tenure and that of Fashola contradicts the notion of him being a violent Islamic expansionist”
