The Labour Party( LP)’ s national chairman, Julius Abure, asserts with assurance that Peter Obi, the party ‘nominee for president, is poised to take office in Nigeria. Abure said this while speaking to a group of Nigerians in the US while touring the nation.
In an effort to overturn Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory as the All Progressives Congress( APC) candidate, Peter Obi, who took third place in the presidential election held in February, is challenging the election results along with his party.
Abure, who is currently on tour of the US and the UK, stated that the presidential election petition tribunal’s( PEPT) decision should be made on or before September 16.
Abure emphasized Peter Obi’s significant contribution to the 2023 general election by saying, “We changed the political narratives in Nigeria as a result of his participation in the election.” We gave them a chance to win. They have killed sleep, and they won’t rest any longer, he continued. They won’t stop until we find everything they have stolen because it is not for them.
