He immediately become the first choice and has attained an average speed of 32.62km/h in the domestic league. This has enabled him to make interceptions and win aerial duels in the English top flight. He has also been able to make 22 clearances (which is the highest by a goalkeeper) within the period. Next on the list of fasted goalies in the EPL is David Raya of Brentford. The Spaniard has attained a top speed of 31.14km/h this term. The 27-year-old shot stopper. Raya is the first goalie to make more than 100 saves in the EPL this season. The speedster has been able to make 1 interception and 22 clearances this term. He currently has nine shut-outs in 27 games. The Spain international is closely followed by Jordan Pickford, an Englishman. Édouard Mendy, with an average top speed of 30.97km/h, is the fourth fastest goalkeeper in England top flight. The France-born Senegalese player kept one clean sheet in nine EPL games before he was sidelined due to injury. Meanwhile, he made not less than 6 clearances before he got injured. The fifth speeding shot stopper in this category is Dean Henderson. The Manchester United keeper who is on a one-season loan at Nottingham Forest has attained an average top speed of 30.44km/h this term. This has contributed to his 12 clearances in 18 EPL matches.
