Wike: We do not have any record that any member of PDP campaigned for Tinubu in Rivers state- Nwauju

The PDP did not run any campaigns for Tinubu in Rivers state, according to Darlington Nwauju, a spokesman for the APC in that state.

In an interview with AIT for the Kakaaki programme, Darlington Nwauju said that the ministry position should not be handed to Governor Wike but rather to an APC member instead. He was broadcasting APC thought in Rivers at the time.

In his opening statement, Darlington Nwanju argued that the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, should not be appointed to a ministerial position because, in his opinion, Nyesom Wike did not do well in terms of human capital.

If you don’t invest in education, the rest of the economy will have utterly crumbled, according to this statement.

APC triumphed because of Wike’s assurance that the party would triumph in Rivers State, and there are claims that his principal, Amaechi, did not support the party’s nominee. Ijeoma cut him off.

Darlington stated that he would still win even if they took away the 200 000 votes Tinubu received in Rivers without surrendering, but

“We don’t have any records of PDP members running election campaigns for Tinubu or the APC in Rivers state. Any member, and by any member I mean ANY member…What miracle did he achieve that will now qualify him for the ministerial position we’re talking about?
