According to Jonathan, the Igbos can not be discarded due to their historical background and the impacts they made for the country.
He mentioned several areas including trade and investments which Igbos contributed in development the country.
Hear him “Igbos hold important place in the history of Nigeria. They make enormous contributions to our country mainly through trades and investments. They are known to be excellent industrialists. They are entrepreneurs and they are scholars. I remember when we are in primary school, if you are good in mathematics, your mates will be calling you chigobi.”
