Why I'm excited by security chiefs, other appointments of Tinubu – Bishop Ransom Bello,

His Lordship Bishop Ransom Bello, the general overseer of Calvary Life Assembly International, is optimistic that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s selection of Service Chiefs will effectively address the persistent security issues the nation is now facing.

President Tinubu received great marks from the previous chairman of the Kano state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for selecting Service Chiefs from all of the nation’s geopolitical zones based on merit.

At a press conference marking his 70th birthday held at the Calvary Life headquarters in Normansland, Kano, Bishop Bello encouraged Nigerians to sincerely pray for President Tinubu and the Service Chiefs to fulfill their duties.

According to The Punch, Bishop Bello, who served as the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria’s (PFN) national vice chairman for the North-West zone, expressed optimism that the current administration will rescue Nigeria from its socioeconomic morass and restore it to its envious status as the Giant of Africa.

The most senior clerics, in particular, expressed satisfaction over the appointments of the Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Gwabin Musa from Zangon Kataf, Kaduna State, and the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ikechukwu Ogalla from Enugu Ezike in Enugu State.

He claimed that the sense of justice and equality the President showed while appointing the Service Chiefs was the reason he was pleased with President Tinubu.

He also voiced confidence in the Service Chiefs’ ability to deliver on their promises, based on their prior accomplishments and illustrious backgrounds.

Bishop Bello further urged Nigerians to refrain from stoking religious passions and let President Tinubu pick qualified individuals who will support restoring Nigeria’s hope.
