Why I Was Not Able To Bury My Late Husband After He Died – Woman Cries Out

My name is Maame Akua Addai, I stayed happily with my husband Samuel and our children. Two years ago he got sick and I sent him to the hospital, but he died while being treated in the hospital.

The body was sent to the morgue, the whole family gathered to organize his funeral and funeral rites. My stepson then gave our cocoa farm to another person for money, he then told us he will be traveling to traveling to Northern region to informed the other their relatives in before performing his father’s funeral.

We all agreed with him and he went to that place with the huge amount of money he got from the cocoa farm. Two days later my stepson Akwasi Solomon came back and spent the rest of the money which they were going to use on funeral rites while my late husband’s body is still in the morgue.

We confronted him about the money but he didn’t give us any tangible reasons for spending that money. We are all facing financial crises and can’t afford the cost of the funeral rites. It’s been two years since I lost my husband, but I have not been able to bury him because his son spent all the money without performing his funeral rites. I appeal to the general public to support me financially in conducting the funeral rites of my late husband
