A Former Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Joe Keshi has alleged that the Zimbabwe people are still contesting the election that got Emmerson Mnangagwa re-elected. He said in an interview with Arise Tv news that if there is a coup in certain African countries, one won’t be surprised due to the situation in those countries.

He said, ”One of the things Americans realizes very much later is that the very time they started intervening everywhere, they just found no where to stop. So if you start with Niger, where are you going to stop. The truth of the matter is that there will still be a Coup. And I ask this question, if there is a coup in certain African countries will anybody be surprised?

If there is a coup in Zimbabwe today, will anybody be surprised? An 81 years old man have just been re-elected in Zimbabwe and the people are contesting the election. And in Congo Dr, the guy is probably there for over 40 years, if there is coup today, will anybody be surprised?.”
