A former Senator, representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani, has indirectly taken a swipe at the immediate past Governor of his State and a staunch member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Nasir El-Rufai; as he maintained that whoever has Masters in betrayal would meet with those that have PhDs, and those that have become Professors in the field.
Shehu Sani had written, “When you have Masters in Betrayal, you will meet those with PhDs and Professors in the field.”
Shehu Sani, who indirectly took a swipe at El-Rufai on his Twitter handle today, maintained that whoever is fond of betraying others, would surely be betrayed. There were indications that the former lawmaker was reacting to the decision of the former Kaduna governor to step down from being a Minister.
Reports had earlier revealed how El-Rufai withdrew his interest in the ministerial slot of Kaduna State. The Kaduna bigwig reportedly took the decision after he returned to Nigeria from his London trip, and found out that the Senate did not include his name in the list of confirmed Ministerial nominees that was transmitted to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He reportedly visited President Tinubu to express his dissatisfaction, and to reveal his intention to step down.
The reports revealed that even though President Tinubu promised to look into the matter, El-Rufai insisted that he was no longer interested in serving in his cabinet, as he maintained that some elements in power are trying to humiliate him.
