In his own words, Primate Ayodele said “In response to my revelation that ‘Emi l’okan’ held spiritual significance, I faced criticism and anger from certain individuals. However, I am grateful to God that the unfolding events have ultimately vindicated me.

“The individual in question invoked the spirit of ‘Emi l’okan’ in order to secure victory in the election. Even the ongoing legal proceedings are also encompassed by the power of this mantra. This is the aspect that Atiku and Obi fail to comprehend. They refuse to acknowledge the spiritual nature of politics.”
