Masquerades scattered APC rally in Ondo State

Bola Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu further stated that when he took power, Lagos was a ” jungle” , and everywhere was completely disorganized, but he went to work to give the state of Lagos a facelift, and other subsequent state governors came to build on the foundations he had set up.

According to a programme which was aired on Channels Television, and also shared by The Punch newspaper online on Saturday 15th October 2022, an ex- governor of the state of Lagos said- ” When I came in as Governor of Lagos State in 1999, Lagos was a jungle. It was a completely uncivilized environment. There were refuse dumps everywhere, schools without roofs, hospitals without ambulances and oxygen tanks to save lives. It was in a very bad state. ”

While speaking further, Bola Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu added that – ” We started to put things in place and the state began to take shape. What we did was to take the liabilities in the state and convert them to assets. ”
