Majeed Dahiru, paper columnist, said that people saw Chief Olisa Metuh in company of former SGF going in to confer with President Tinubu.

Majeed Dahiru made the statement in an interview with AIT during the Kakaaki program when he was giving opinion on how Tinubu can wage into insurgency in southeast.

Majeed firstly said that he is always happy when he sees leaders from the southeast having access to their president.

“Last week, we saw Chief Olisa Metuh in company of former SGF going in to confer with President (Tinubu) and coming out on camera. We want to see more of this across the country so that people will know that, whatever the intention federal government is going to have by way of restoring peace and security in southeast is not to punish the region but to protect the region.

Dahiru said he differs with that opinion.

“It is good when I see a president all-embracing and all-accommodating of all tendencies, who keep an open door policy, it’s good for national healing. You see the last administration was hyper partisan…Tinubu is telling you, we are all one people, this is the kind of messaging we want to see in the highest office in the land, and we have seen that evaporating. You see the way he was able to navigate and ask the Labour Party to support his anointed candidate In national assembly”
