We Hope Tinubu Would've Learnt From Buhari's Failure If He Continues As President- Hakeem Baba-Ahmed

The spokesman for the Northern Elders Forum, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has expressed confidence in president Bola Tinubu’s ability to provide good governance for the people.

Speaking in an interview as reported by Punch, the northern elder statesman noted that by the time all the court cases against his election have been completed, they are hoping that president Bola Tinubu would’ve learnt from the weaknesses and failures of former president, Muhammadu Buhari.

He said provided that the president remains in office at the end of the whole court exercises, he would be able to create a government that would be completely different from that of his predecessor.

He said “we are hoping that if Bola Tinubu continues to be president after all judicial processes have been concluded, he would have learnt from Muhammadu Buhari’s weaknesses and failures to create a government that is radically different from that of Buhari. This country has to move on. We don’t have another eight years to lose.”

The Northern Elders Forum’s spokesman furthermore noted that a lot is expected from the administration of president Bola Tinubu.

He said “There is a very high expectation that we would have good governance, we will have a compassionate government and we would have a secure country.”
