We Challenge Yakubu to Walk The Street Of Abuja for 30 Minutes if His Conscience is Clear -Ibem

The 2023 General Elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nigeria have sparked mixed reactions among the citizens. While some people are praising the commission for their handling of the elections, others believe that the election was not conducted in a free, fair, and credible manner.

Goodluck Ibem, the President-General of the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), has come forward to criticize INEC’s National Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu. In a statement released to the Daily Post, Ibem challenges Yakubu to walk freely on the streets of Abuja for 30 minutes without any security personnel protecting him. Ibem believes that this challenge will test Yakubu’s integrity, and if he refuses to accept it, it will raise questions about his conduct during the 2023 Presidential Election.

Ibem emphasizes that conscience should not fear any accusations and that truth is akin to an open wound. He firmly believes that by accepting this challenge, Yakubu can prove his integrity to the world. On the other hand, if Yakubu rejects the challenge, Ibem suggests that it would reveal a lack of transparency on his part and cast doubt on his actions during the recently conducted elections.
