Goodluck Ibem, the President-General of the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), has come forward to criticize INEC’s National Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu. In a statement released to the Daily Post, Ibem challenges Yakubu to walk freely on the streets of Abuja for 30 minutes without any security personnel protecting him. Ibem believes that this challenge will test Yakubu’s integrity, and if he refuses to accept it, it will raise questions about his conduct during the 2023 Presidential Election.

Ibem emphasizes that conscience should not fear any accusations and that truth is akin to an open wound. He firmly believes that by accepting this challenge, Yakubu can prove his integrity to the world.
