I Am Still Hopeful That Peter Obi, Backed By Millions Of Nigerians Will Reclaim The Mandate – Dr. Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh

The Labour Party candidate for the Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency in the last general elections, Dr. Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh has stated that he is still hopeful that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi will win at the Election Petition Tribunal.

Recall that according to the Independent National Electoral Commission, former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP to clinch the apex political seat in the country.

The presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are currently challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja. Nigerians are now waiting for the judgement of the Court after the judges have heard all petitions.

The Sun paper reported that Emmanuel Ezeh, in an exclusive interview said; “I am still hopeful that Mr Peter Obi backed by millions of Nigerians will reclaim the mandate freely given by the Nigerian people irrespective of age, sex, religion and tribe. Nigerians spoke loudly and in support of Mr Obi’s brand of politics. This is a fact.”

He stated further; “When that time comes, we shall prosecute these unpatriotic people according to the laws of the land. Many of them should be in prison.”
