Warred Enisuoh Reveals Why Security Operatives Destroyed Seized Crude Oil Vessel And Its Content

The Executive Director of tions and Technical at Tantita Security, Warred Enisuoh, has stated that the seized crude oil vessel which was seized by security operatives for illegally trying to export fuel out of Nigeria was destroyed because of how long it will take for court case to be concluded.

According to Warred Enisuoh, the vessel was built in 1965 and if such an old vessel is kept as evidence for a court case which could last up to 10 years, the the crude oil will likely go into the water and create more ecological problems for the inhabitants around.

Warred Enisuoh explained that since the vessel should be an evidence during the court case, then it means that the crude oil inside the vessel cannot be touched because it could mean tampering with evidence.

Speaking further, Warred Enisuoh noted that even if the oil is to be evacuated from the vessel, fraud could still set in because the people meant to evacuate thee crude oil could keep on using the documents meant for the evacuation to steal more oil in the nearest future.
