He cited an example where a person may deny the existence of miracles until they face a life-threatening illness, at which point their perspective would change drastically. The woman prayed for her son, who, despite his religious beliefs, welcomed the prayers and sought divine intervention. This story serves as a testament to the universal need for miracles, regardless of one’s religious affiliation.

“‘When someone needs a miracle, there is no point. If somebody says: “Jesus does not do miracles”. Forget it, the day he needs one argument will end. A Man of God said if you say: “Jesus, I don’t believe in miracles”. The day he has cancer, he will then believe in miracles by force because at that time when doctors tell him, ‘No way’. He will say: “Is there no other way?” The woman said she prayed for her own son who is a Jehovah’s Witness and he said: “Pray, it’s in my chest now” and she anointed him again then he was free. He didn’t say: “No, I’m a Jehovah’s Witness, don’t pray”.

Continuing his message, Pastor Ibiyeomie reaffirmed the reality of miracles and emphasized their role in validating Christianity. He acknowledged that if one were to deny the existence of miracles, he himself would have doubts about the nature of God due to the numerous miraculous occurrences he has witnessed.
