The former Governor of Cross River State, Mr. Donald Duke has said the incumbent Governor of the State – Sen. Ben Ayade is the “most cowardly person that has occupied the Government House” with fake academic degrees.
Mr. Duke stated this in one of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) town hall meetings held in Calabar a few days ago where he said Ayade has taken the State 30 years aback than he met it in 1999…….CONTINUE READING
Donald raged in his short speech inferred that it was a mistake bringing Mr. Ayade to power from nowhere in 2015.
“When we started this journey over 24 years ago, he was somewhere acquiring his fake degrees, you can’t stand here and say this is a professor; professor of what?
“In 2015 we made a grievous mistake by bringing someone from nowhere to Government House, Calabar and we have paid dearly for it. He has regressed this State for over 30 years as I met it and he has the temerity to send me such nonsense texts.
“You know when you are governor, you are the Chief Security Officer of the State, when #EndSARS struck, he was the first person to run, even his ADC could not know where he was.
“He is the most cowardly person that has occupied the Government House.”
