UTME fraud: Innoson demands investigation of candidate

The Head of Corporate Communications, Innoson Group, Cornel Osigwe, has stated that called for a through investigation the girl does not have the capacity to manipulate her result, demands investigation of the matter.

Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma from Anambra State, had claimed to have had 362 in the just concluded 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

According to punchng.com, Osigwe stated his official Twitter handle, said the girl he mer does not have the brain and capacity to manipulate her result. There is more to this story. A proper investigation needs to be done. He begged for the poor to be allowed to breath.

The candidate was said to be one of the most brilliant in her school, according to the principal of her school. Her parents could not even afford to pay her West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council Examination (NECO).

What will she gained from manipulating her UTME score, Osigwe questioned.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board had stated that Ejikeme manually inflated her result from 249 to 362 to attract N3 million Innoson Motors scholarship and was about to be awarded by the Anambra State Government before she was exposed.
