Nigerian man celebrates as he becomes father of twins after 18 years of marriage

Ishaka Suleiman, a Nigerian man, is celebrating his first fatherhood after 18 years of marriage.

In the first week of October 2022, Suleiman from Kogi State’s Ankpa Local Government Area announced the birth of his twin boys on Facebook.

Raquel described how, despite the delight of having a new baby, it always felt “weird to glance down and still see a ” after her prior pregnancies.

But she acknowledges that since having Willa, she has finally come to appreciate her entire body, including the extra pounds and stretch marks that each child brought with it.

Discuss postpartum bodies now! “I was ecstatic to have welcomed our lovely girl and felt incredibly strong and proud of what my body and I had just accomplished! Even after doing it three times, it’s unusual to look down and still see a “even though you’re holding your baby in your arms.”

Going home with a newborn while still required to wear maternity clothing is difficult. I’ve put on a few more pounds and developed a few more stretch marks with each baby. When I was a newborn, I used to feel the need to cover up because I didn’t want anyone to see how my body looked. After three children, I’ve finally realised that my postpartum body is nothing to be ashamed of!

She feels incredibly proud of what this body has sacrificed and given. She appreciates that my body can naturally carry and give birth to children. She is not ashamed of her postpartum body or her (many) new stripes. And you shouldn’t either! Let’s acknowledge the beauty of postpartum bodies. She thinks the female body is amazing and is very proud of what hers has accomplished!
