Two Confirmed Dead As Tanker Explosion Grounds Lagos- Ibadan Expressway

At Kara Bridge on the Lagos- Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, a tanker carrying diesel crashed and exploded, leaving two people reported dead, the truck’ s driver lost control when it was traveling into Ogun State and had the license plate DTM 109 XA.

Two of the three occupants were reportedly killed when the head exploded. Firefighters were on the ready to prevent any type of tragedy from the truck’ s contents spilling onto the expressway, as the source saw.

The incident caused traffic to become backed up down the axis and into the Berger neighborhood. At the scene of the incident, the police and members of the Ogun State Federal Road Safety Corps could also be seen directing traffic.
