Tribunal: APC Debunks Reports CJN, Ariwoola Called Tinubu to Prepare for a Rerun Election

According to DAILY POST, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has debunked reports that President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu received a phone call form the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Olukayode Ariwoola and the two discussed the ongoing petitions against the President at the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC.

The reports which alleged that the CJN had advised President Tinubu and the APC to get ready for a rerun of the 2023 presidential election, was described by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka as fabricated falsehood.

According to Morka, President Tinubu and the APC won the February 25 2023 Presidential election without a doubt, and do not have any need to engage in side conversations with the CJN regarding pending petitions before the PEPC.

He urged Nigerians to disregard the reports.

“Nigerians are smarter and more discerning to be affected by this opposition brand of tasteless and crass mercenary expeditions,” the statement by the APC partly read.
